so, ive obviously been called a vegan nazi, vegan police, vegan elitist, etc on this page. But, whatever. its fine. I have been RIGHT where you, the one calling the name, have been and I GET that change/awakening/etc is HARD HARD shit. anyway, Im not even going to say my perceived need for everyone to be vegan is inaccurate. I NEED people (especially yall right here on the cusp of GETTING IT) to go vegan and get it. I saw a couple animal rights memes last night and ended up having nightmares last night. Theyre added below. if you cannot see the desperate terror in that hens eye. If you cannot see the heartbreak/confusion and sadness in that pigs connection with the camera person.... WE are here to tell you because we feel it and hear it to our VERY Vegan core. (i shouldt speak for others, maybe other strong vegans are motivated differently). I can actually close my eyes and If i allow the focus to happen I can really feel what they are thinking/feeling. its really really really life-altering awful. hell. Then i get on here, on fb, and see all the almost-vegans just slamming and slapping at those of us in such an urgent urgent place in our hearts to get this STOPPED... and it hurt my heart all over again. Not sure of my reason for posting this, other than to point out to you all that fight the little non-subjective things involved with being vegan, that us militants (not militant really... NOT...) are not trying to one-up anyone. Were not competing for a ribbon or a More-vegan award. Were in a desperate fight to get more people AWARE and to get more people to get animals off their plates (and feet etc). Its not like we come on here to badger you and point out how your wrong. we come on here because its an awesome portal to GET AT YOU. Youre HERE and youre wanting to wear that vegan title.... So, take it easy on the vegans. EVERYTHING is an assault on those down and dirty in it... we dont need the shit from those whos aim is to BE vegan. kwim?
