so let me see if I got this straight. billy joe and bobby sue broke into a guys house, stole his money, shot him and ran off to mexico. supposedly they met up the very next day. according to police records, they made off with $237 and a carton of milk. accounting for inflation and an extended shelf life due to irradiation treatment of the milk they were good for six days at the Puebla del Sol Resort, an all inclusive, clothing optional runaway resort for the rich and eccentric. After the six days, they were promptly turned over to the owners for non payment on their accommodations. I made a couple of phone calls to see how that worked out and was directed to a beachside resort owned by Sammy Hagar (The Red Rocker) The manager told me that bobby sue now works as a hostess at the bar and has 8 children ages 20 to 32 and that billy joe took his own life in a fit of depression in 1993.
