so many times we bring hurts and pains into our lives through relationship, friends, choices, decision, etc. even though we bring all of this stuff into our lives. we are not the only ones that feel the hurts and pains. the ones we love and god feels our hurts and pains. because god is not standing there in power and majesty smiling saying i told you so- no, god is experiencing all of the pain we do. he cries out in anguish at our new birth pains. he died on the cross for those pains. as we truly see who we are and who god is we realize the magnitude of the price that was paid in full on the cross for every evil thought, every angry word, and every evil action. he died for our hate filled moments. he took our sins of malice, slander, filthy language, lying, stealing, killing, divorce etc--he took them all into himself.
