so maybe 3 years ago - when we were such young pups in this world of big dogs - we got asked to open for a band that we loved called Glass Ghost - I believe this was at union pool and we were so excited as it was our biggest show to the date - Since then - weve been friends and especially Eliot Krimsky has given us a great deal of advice and wisdom. I (matt) once was opening up to him about my frustrations about how long our first LP was taking to finish. We talked for some time about it and eventually the commencement of the conversation was him telling me that all we have is time - this sentiment turned into a lyric for a song we wrote called grow younger - I eventually felt like a fool as he was telling me how long his album was taking - he didnt seem at all frustrated . . yesterday the album was released and i cant recommend a better piece of music to listen to - I understand why it took so long - this piece of music was created with care - from the lush strings/horns to the heavy drops on the moog to the absolutely perfect lyrics. On this song Triangle, you can hear, at the very end, our very own, Julia Teper, wailing in the highest registers of her voice.
