so my thoughts on the hotel for comic con.. was not as nice as the embassy suites that we stayed at in fort lauderdale.. was actually disappointed with the room with what we paid for it.. AND we had to pay for valet parking because thats all they allow and its 24 dollars a night plus tax.. well by the time we checked out this morning the desk clerk was cowering behind the desk.. one of their cleaning staff is a thief.. we made sure that the do not disturb sign was on the hotel door everytime we left that room to keep everyone out since we had product in the room and stuff.. well we brought some bottles of wine with us and had them sitting on the secondary sink in the living room (we were using it as a wetbar.. it was marble and we just filled the stainless steel since with ice and sat our bottles in it) well i also bought a brand new box set of 4 of REALLY NICE red wine glasses.. $20 for the box of 4) that was sitting on the counter next to the sink that we were using as a wetbar. well we didnt notice that when we came back from con sunday afternoon that all of the trays and the extra plates we had for us to eat off of were all gone from our room. i noticed this morning when we got up and started packing stuff up that i was missing wine glasses to rinse out and put back in the box......... to make a longer story short they came into our room even though we had the sign out.. and took stuff.. some things were moved that should never of even been touched.. well the lady at the desk went to the restaurant there in the hotel to look for our missing wine glasses because our looked NOTHING like theirs.. ours were very big and and flat bottomed and then flared our and up.. they are beautiful.. nothing like their short squat red wine glasses.. the box was sitting next to the wine glasses for goddesses sake.. they never should of been touched! you could tell they were not theirs!! since the box was right there! well she couldnt fine them.. so since one of their staff came into our room even though we had the do not disturb sign out.. and they took something that was obviously not theirs they gave us 2 of their ugly wine glasses.. and they refunded us one nights stay.. i dont mind the refund for the one night.. i mean it was 140 a night.. but now i have 2 ugly wine glasses and a 3 set of really nice glasses instead of the matching 4 set :/ assholes.......
