so on sunday during the Rifts game I had another Squire Arthur Dodger, apprentice Jedi moment during the finale, Dodger had to fight a dozen cultists alone while the rest of the party argued what to do (i figured i was gonna die tbh) but got a stealth kill on the first cultist, took out three more with a Windrush (thank you Techno-wizard Storm Cannon rifle!) spinning as the remaining 8 cultists charged, i managed to get rid of the cultists with another wind rush... what dodger didnt see, is that a pipe that was in the center of the room, was a foci to ressurect a giant skeleton that was really a demi-god/demon had started to restore him. the party fought with him but had largely bad luck, untill someone managed to damage the statue that was near-by. while they cracked it they couldnt seem to destroy it. so, while Dodger made his way out of the room with the cultists, he hitched a plan that was nigh on suicidal, 60 feet above the rest of the party, he weaved and bobbed through the metal railing to build up momentum, leaped over the side, landed on the demi-god/demons arm, used it as a slide, then backflipped off the demons arm to launch himself at the statue from 30 feet above, and came down, Psi-swords drawn, on the statue, made my hit roll...and Natural 20. rolled my psi-sword damage, and bam 14 and 18, which made it 32 x2 for being on a ley line and x2 for being a critical. 128 damage and BAM, the statue shatters. a friend of mine hadnt seen me pull one of my crazy stunts in game yet, and was sitting looking at me with his jaw open and he pipes up I cant believe you just pulled that off... while his brother who was sitting between us said dammit, you stole my kill!
