so... that Church dance was terrible. let me be Gordon Ramsay / Simon Cowell about this, but ill be a bit nicer. 1) The DJ was inexperienced -He had his laptop DJ for him -The song choices were lacking *then again it was his first time and thats understandable* 2) The speakers were blown out -Terrible sound quality -I cant hear person singing in this... 3) The theme didnt seem to take well to the people invited. -Only 40 people said they were going to this thing *then again maybe Im wrong and maybe thats normal* My advice for next time. 1) Listen to the DJ first with a group of friends -You will know how it will work out beforehand -Its science! 2) Have a backup guy just in case -And call them the minute something goes wrong -Not during the last hour 3) Ask a wider group of people about what they think of the theme. -One again.. science! 4) BYOS - Bring Your Own Speakers -Or call a friend and borrow theres -Cmon Were Mormons you must have one rich friend! -Or you are the rich friend and can afford some nice speakers 5) Get to know Your audience -For example Ive noticed that most people hate slow songs -Some like it hot, some like it cold -OH would you look at that...Science! In the end I suggest that whoever is running this thing does a lil Experimenting before a dance, And make sure you are prepared for the worst. i guess that includes the YSA activities gang (or whatever youre called, sry i forgot) The steak president and god... By the way I want to be a DJ for one of these things so consider me plz! well bye!
