so was in bandra east for a meeting at 9ish in the evening few days back and was hit with such strong aromas of eggs. there were half a dozen joints selling all kinds of eggs - fried, burji, omelette, god knows what else. the aroma was simply crazy or its just that we were tired and hungry. we decided to grab a bite - double omlette and pav. when i saw what came i was absolutely surprised - simple omlette with onions, green chilies, a little turmeric and slight hint of red paprika. if the aroma was a 10, the food actually was a 15. late evening omlette pav on a wooden baakda with chai. delicious. mumbai is a blessing for people who are hungry. ~ Sharika Kaul
