so... why did the jews kill Jesus??? ... If he was prophetized about by matthew and others!! if they knew that he was coming, and they were ALL waiting for his arrival!! why did the end up killing him after he came?? well... during the time that Jesus existed... Israel was conquered and ruled by Rome... so they expected Jesus to be another David!! they expected a warrior with an indestructuble armor and sword (figure of speech) to free them from Romes rule! and to give power to Isreal once again.... So when he came and taught them about the REAL power.. the power of LOVE, of loving one another... they were what??... you guessed it.. they were dissapointed!! because they were selfish and wanted Wealth and Power over other men!... and eventually they killed him.... they KNEW he was coming, they KNEW he was the one prophetized about... they simply didnt find him to be what they WANTED him to be.. so they killed him..... and think about this??... How many times do you ridicule people who preach love?... how many times do you make fun of people who are vulnerable? how many times have you picked on somebody who loves you? in society we respect badasses people who can kick ass and are tough... but those preaching love we disregard, and often times we take them for granted and even bully them.... pay attention!!!.. we are still doing what the jews did to Jesus.... as a society we still dont value LOVE!!!...
