so, yeah... the last week or so has been very surreal for my family and i... last Friday i had a colonoscopy, in preparation for my surgery this past Thursday. Then, Friday morning, less than 24 hours later, the surgery failed and i had a serious freak-out/meltdown. Since then, ive just been focusing on resting and healing, and it seems that hopefully, some healing is occuring. i am cautiously optimistic. So, in response to all of that, i went out this morning and bought a 3ft fiber-optic christmas tree to put on permanent year-round display in our bedroom. i mean, what else was i supposed to do??? LOL!! Thanks for your encouragements and support during this very difficult time. it means so much! i appreciate everyone who has taken the time to write an encouraging note to us. Better days are ahead!! :-)
