so yesterday i made grape jelly.. the first batch i goofed and added the sugar to the juice first and boiled.. THEN added Pectin. Oddly enough it didnt set at ALL. So today i figured i would experiment a bit. I recooked it and added another pectin. I have doubts as to if it will set but hey its canning and will sit in the cellar for a time. I am now making a fresh small batch in the right order lol.. i DID make a second batch yesterday that came out great and set well... i already have em sold. Todays will be watched as I have never used the pectin i chose today nor the 100% generic grape juice so cross your fingers.. ONE sample jar always come out so we shall see. Later.. I can finish my pickles and some cucumber salad ( this time with fresh tomatoes WOO HOOO)
