social media collects your private information without your consent, and they collect a lot more than you think oh its probably just my name and where i live and my phone number. nope. its what kind of browser youre using, every link you click on and page you like, maybe even your fingerprints when youre swiping your iphone and using your touchscreen. why would they be collecting fingerprints? maybe so they can see where you go shopping. where you used your touchscreen at what particular time of day. they collect this mountain of information from you, make statistics out of the data and use it for aggressive marketing campaigns where they bombard you a lot more than you realize with ads tailored to your personal preferences. first they collect your data, then they use it to subconsciously persuade you to buy certain products. and they dont pay you for it. also facebook recently did a massive psychological experiment on its users, without its users individual medical consent. medical consent is not the same as advertising consent. they keep pushing the boundaries. when will you push back?
