some have turned their backs and closed their eyes, some have hidden in holes or in prison houses, some sit in darkness alone and fight their own battles from within, some do not hear the fainted cries nor listen to the voices on the streets, some established their discouragement and hide in desert places choosing to be robbed of the joy of unselfish sacrifice that our Lord, gave so freely to them. Open up your hearts, go out in the streets, into the byways and highways, Go and listen to their cries, open your eyes to see in secret places and hidden crevasses, Help those who are hurting, Lift up those in crooked places and bring them in, Let the Lord pour His blessings upon those who have laid in wasted places, Break the chains that bound those who live in disgrace and speak to them of His mercy and love. Declare what is right and counsel together giving way to prayer and well-doing, Do not let the enemy built doubt and fear into your hearts, But, seek God and let Him walk beside You. Hold on to His Word and fight a good fight. ~joyce
