some hours ago, a friend sent me a youtube clip of an interview which was in thai - and which i therefore could only understand a tiny smidgeon of. the only thing i DID get and DID really like was the theme music which was kind of heartland-y and anthemic and also drunk and tired and beautiful (and maybe a bit french). so i wrote back to him and explained my shameful lack of language proficiency, but added, rather desperately it might have seemed, but actually very sincerely, that i love thai music but have no way to find the gems without wading through thousands of mp3s - but THIS theme tune had really cheered me up. and then all sorts of strange things about this song started to become clear. i began to understand the lyrics a bit, and then i noticed that the backing vocalist sounded rather familiar. i wont say more, but have a listen, and see what you can figure out. you can even have a very slow dance with an equally smashed imaginary friend. and ill post the translation of the lovely lyrics below... https://youtube/watch?v=UtOypC065f4
