some sugar company wanted to launch a new product. they went to Rome to see the pope and also make a donation. interestingly, the were to launch the product during the Easter mass celebration at Rome. however, they told the pope to alter the Lords prayer. instead of saying, Give us today our daily bread... he is to say, Give us today our daily sugar... as a result, the church would receive $500 million. sadly, the pope declined their offer. they went back home wondering how stubborn the pope can be. they also wondered how much bread he receive for him to decline their offer
