some way. some how. this time next year, I will be gearing up for my very first Opening Day. I was SUPPPOSSSSSSED to be there with Corey Hoover this year….but, he had bigger better things to work on. Til then, I wish all of you the most magical day ever. I can feel him smiling….. Cincinnati Reds…Opening day. Say it together all….MACHINE UP BOYZ! :):):) I cant wait to see photos of my friends and family in their shirts…and I want to give an extra big thank you to Corey Cunningham…one of my brothers first best friends….. and the one that came up with the design and surprised us all at his funeral with the shirt. Thank you Corey, for finding a way to connect my brother, and the Reds, and his favorite phrase….. forever, on a t-shirt. My heart, my familys heart, and all of us that loved him cant help but smile through the pain when we see people wearing those shirts. I cant thank you enough, CC. And I cant thank ALL of you enough for purchasing them, wearing them, loving them and supporting Rise and Rise Again Foundation, Inc.. Big day tomorrow. Let there be love. And Good. Dearbabyjesusofmlbpleaselettheredswinthisone Wait. Quick Story. When my brother died, he died on Pete Roses birthday. His favorite player since the day he was born. The minute the monitors went to straight lines, I looked to the tv…. we were watching the Reds…. I had a feeling something magical was about to happen. And sure enough… within seconds Joey Votto hit a home run. Thats when I knew my brother was in a good place. I know many of you will be thinking of Corey tomorrow…we all knew how much baseball livened him up…….. try not to be sad. Rejoice in this day that he lived for. He is with us all. Always.
