something new about this situation ???? No ....!!!!! it is always the same with the police force ....they dont care about innocent people , children or pets being killed by their wild shoot outs , all what they care about is to nail the so called Bad guy .....if the bad guy is holding or hiding behind a child or a hostage .....they will kill the baby or hostage to get to the bad guy ....if this bad guy becomes a threat to the police safety !!!!! what it happened in Stockton is a show of lawlessness .....when you see thirty or forty police cars chasing only one vehicle with a hostage and two or three crooks trying to get away from them....you realize how out of control the police are .....by putting so many cars out there chasing only one stolen or carjacked vehicle and endangering the lives of the pedestrians ....!!!!! is this a show of force or message to the crooks out there sent by the police ?????......No !!!! if the police was trying to send a message of force to the bad guys out there , they sent the wrong message , they sent a message of weakness , you dont need thirty or forty police cars to catch one fleeing vehicle , all what you need is two or three police cars with well trained police officers and maybe a helicopter to minimize the danger to innocent people or pedestrians !!!!!! when the bad guys see that it took thirty or forty police cars to stop one vehicle ......they might think ..... well...we will see what you do next time if we come in five or more vehicles to rob your banks .....!!!!! the police or highway patrol are out there to get you in trouble ....it is not like the old days , when they were out there to help people .....!!!!! the slogan for the police these days is .....to serve and protect ourselves at the cost of the civilians !!!!! Period !!!!!!
