sometimes it just feels like out of sight, out of mind - it would be lovely to just be able to meet up with friends for lunch, movies etc, but i dont drive and cant do public transport, so instead im rarely out the door, and frequently only see other people from one week to the next (or longer). its not that i dont want to do stuff or be more involved, im just limited by what i can do. i would just love people to get to know me, instead of the few minutes chat that is the usual. sorry to rant, i know people have busy lives, but i can just feel so isolated a lot of the time
