sorry for not posting a lot guys ive been kinda busy and stuff (this is going to be a long post but please read it all) so i want to ask you guys this do you think anime should become mainstream now anime is becoming more popular like in the 2000s if you went up to every kid in your school and ask them to tell you at least 5 animes only about 5% if that would be able to tell you and for the others either you wouldve got the most confused look in your life or you would get pokemon if that now here we are in 2013 where you can go up to every kid in your school and tell them to list 5 animes and at least 10% of that school would be able to answer that they would be mainstream animes but animes non the less now the reason why us otakus/ anime watchers/lovers are frowned upon and called gay and all that is becuase of how anime is seen today if you go and search anime in google safesearch off 75% of it would be fanservice and most people find the disgusting and childish and all that now back to if it should be mainstream or not a lot of movies are going to be based of animes which means hollywood is grabbing the anime rope now this means more and more people will be into anime maybe now us otakus crave that torture we get for liking anime its basically our badge of honor the more you get bullied the higher your otaku rank is but if movies and hollywood and everybody is getting into anime wont that take away the torture we get that uniqiness we have so like i asked before should anime become mainstream yes or no ~ ecchi-san
