spending our recent Holy Week at the fabulous Dreamwave Resort Hotel where we stayed) and our relative-owned Bakawan Forest Resort Hotel (where Nang Miling stayed and cooked good food for us) in Puerto Galera is one unforgettable experience for many of us - my most-loved baby - my only son Carlo Brian and apos Toxin, Nikka and Christian, my pamangkins Douglas and Tudok, my two babies Michael Pangilinan and Prima Diva Billy and barkadas Roel Villacorta, Richard Pinlac, Dominic Rea, Leo Bukas, Boy Romero, Roel Caba of the Philippines, Ady, Otik, Jack, Pepay Aguilar, Macky, Tammy Brown, Joy Samonte with partner Joey and other friends - gosh! thanks to dear friend Atty. Ferdie Topacio for facilitating our stay at Dreamwave owned by his contractor-buddy Alex Cruz. Siyempre, slightly stagemothering ako kina Michael and Billy dahil walang puknat na tomaan ang naganap sa apat na araw naming pagtika sa Puerto Galera. Good boy naman ang baby Michael natin and in control naman ang reyna ng Mindoro Sling na si Prima Diva Billy. Saya rin ng company nina Mamu Andrew de Real and Papa Danny dela Cruz ng The Library na kasama nina Andrei David and Phillip Lazaro. Ang bait din nina Glenn (Taboy) and Doc Jimmy Cordero ng napakaganda at provincial na Bakawan Forest resort Hotel (next time dito ako mag-stay para maramdaman ko ang fresh air and native ambiance) - with Jed around assisting everyone, how can you feel bad, aber? parang nag-concert na rin sina Michael and Billy sa Dreamwave nang mag-jam sila sa banda on our last night (Saturday) dahil hiyawan ang mga customers sa hotel lobby. thanks din pala sa fellow-Rotarian kong si Tato Dimayuga (Tanauan City, Batangas Chapter) because he requested his Puerto-based friend to send us one huge lechon baboy last Wednesday on my birthday mismo (Thu-Sat kami di kumain ng karne) and on Maundy Thursday naman, Puerto Galeras mayor Dr. Hubert Dolor treated us to a merienda sa Casa Mia (Italian Resto) with our dear friend Ina Alegre na tubong-Pola, Oriental Mindoro. The vacation was a blast with some small hitches tulad nang pambabastos ng ilang staff ng Mantroque Production who organized the Smart event last Thu-Sat. Nakaranas ako ng panghihiya ng ilang oranged-clad production assistants nila when I passed by their venue one late evening - napahinto kasi ako sa bandang harap ng entrance nila (sa pavement naman kami nakatayo ni Otik) being curious sa mukhang masaya nilang event and busy ang mata ko sa kahahanap ng reception area nila kung magkano ang entrance or something. Pinalalayas kami sa area nang pabalang dahil daanan daw ng tao yung kinatatayuan namin. My gosh! Na-high blood talaga ako kaya namura ko ang tatlong assistants nila - ayoko talagang magmura o magalit but they provoked me. Upon chancing on me, isa-isang nag-apologize ang mga bosses nila sa akin because nakita nila that I was truly pissed off. In fairness naman, naramdaman ko naman ang sincerity ng panghingi nila ng paumanhin. Sabi ko lang, next time ay maging maingat sila sa pananalita nila sa mga tao - it doesnt have to be me - puwede mo namang sabihin nang maayos ang pasensiya na po sir, daanan po kasi iyan - hindi yung umalis kayo diyan, daanan iyan na wari moy pulubi kang sinisigawan and wini-whisk away. Nakakapanliit pala iyon, no? Lalo pat nagkakaedad ka na - nagiging more sensitive ka. Anyway, napatawad ko na sila - I am just sharing my sad experience sa Puerto Galera but at its wholistic point, I truly enjoyed the company of everyone. Thank God and we went home safe and sound. Recharged kahit papaano. Here we are again - makikipagtunggali muli sa trabaho - sa mundo na minsan ay nararamdaman mong you are not truly appreciated despite your efforts to make good. Sa isang mundo na marami ang nagmamalinis pero kinukontrol naman nila ang industriya. Lets just hope and pray na everything will be alright or else - they will get the WORST in me.
