spent a great Friday afternoon/night in Belgrade... My Palestinian buddy came up from Kragujevac for the weekend. We met up at Yala Habibi to smoke a little shisha and catch up on the latest goings on.. :) He called two of his other Palestinian buddies to join us. We finished up the smoke and headed to Shawarma Bar for some awesome Arab grub. They wanted me to come back to their crib to chill out for a bit. They told me on the way over that Ahmeds roommate was an Iraqi guy from Baghdad, Iraq. :O :O :O -_- -_- -_- What a feeling. I am in a country that we bombed in 1999, going to visit an Iraqi who came from another country we bombed, with a group of Palestinians who we like to label as terrorist suicide bombers -_- -_- Gotta love governments, dont ya? -_- What makes this situation a little more tense? I am wearing my American flag shirt. :O I told the guys to tell the Iraqi that I am from Canada.:) Everyone loves a Canadian:P The guy was extremely friendly with me. He held no ill feelings towards me and we discussed many different topics. :) The room soon filled with 4 more Palestinians, 2 Tunisians , and an Angolan. My idiot friend told them all that I was an American who is working for the CIA! -_- He started asking how much money they think they could get out of my government if they took me hostage! hhahahaha... :) I stupidly told them that its against US policy to negotiate with terrorists. One of them quickly remarked You dont negotiate with terrorists because you are the terrorists -_- :) The only way out of this situation is to yell ALLAH AKBAR! :) They spared my life, made me a wonderful cup of tea, and we shot the shit for another few hours. :) Every day is a great day when you can add 6 or 7 new friends! p.s Just to clarify..... My life was never in danger! I dont want that to get back to my mom. She would have a heart attack.. ahahaha :)
