starting the day off with a friend of Bobs back in the day, a long long time a go in a place called the Village, that was back in the 60s, when a hippy was a beatnik, where a coffee house wasnt a place where they charged you ten bucks for a cup of java. you could go in and hear poetry, see people like Bob, Dave Von Ronk, and Geoffs old lady, who i was in love with. oh and even Tiny Tim! i never made it to NY, but we had little clubs with the likes of Muddy Waters in Chicago and if you a white kid and didnt listen to your parents about how you werent suppose to venture into the South Side of Chicago, because them Negros would get you, you got to hear some blues....
