step 1-falling apart: because in the middle of the night, I dropped my laptop and broke it beyond repair. spent rest of night stressing over lost data, lost programs, lost passwords, etc. and a drain on my bank account when I have to buy a new computer. step 2-rebuilding: now, I get to locate and re-install programs, growl over forgotten passwords (did I spell it right, upper or lower case, etc.?) and write the new ones down somewhere else, figure out how to use a touch screen laptop (which is very different! :) and fun for my cat, who immediately decided to put her scent on the "new toy that smells funny" by rubbing her jaw across the screen and opening odd programs in the process, then she jumps and glares at the screen because it is moving. lol. ), oh, and learn how to find stuff on the new laptop (because it seems my cat relocated a couple of apps!) oh the joy! :).
