still ISO: On July 27, 2013, my family will be taking up the challenge of hosting the second annual Gone but Not Forgotten Memorial Run/Walk. Lived Hard Died Young, the Sgt. Eugene Uhl memorial foundation was created to honor my fallen brother. Sgt. Uhl was killed in Action, KIA, on 15 November 2003 while serving our country as a part of the 101st Airborne Air Assault. As his family, we created a foundation to honor him by help young students achieve their dream of going to college. Gone but Not Forgotten, Sgt. Eugene Uhl Memorial Run/Walk will raise funds for the direct purpose of awarding a well-deserved student with funds to move forward in their education. During our Memorial Run/Walk, our foundation hosts a basket raffle and dinner as well as a bake sale. As part of our fundraiser, we are asking sponsors for a generous donation of cash or items for Raffle purposes. If you would generously provide our foundation with a donation, I will include an acknowledgement of your support on the program. Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. As one of my sponsors, I will personally let you know how we do. If you would like more information on the Lived Hard Died Young, The Sgt. Eugene Uhl Memorial, please visit us at our Facebook page: Lived Hard Died Young. We currently have our application in with the Internal Revenue Service, I.R.S, to create a Non-Profit organization where your donations may be tax deductible.
