still in 7th heaven. need to gush or Ill explode. spent Saturday and Sunday working on race brain issues with my trainer (she got a new shiny trailer and wanted to go OUT, so she grabbed one of her lesson horses and met me at various trailheads). Having someone who knows you and knows your horse right next to you schooling you as you push your horses buttons (in our case, rating the trot, me learning to release quick enough and holding him to the good behavior we working towards, him being passed and leaving his new BFF, you know, standard young horse stuff :)) is PRICELESS. When you finish two days of lessons and feel that you got challenged (OMG I was pooped) but that you see a bright shiny future of doing anything you put your mind to? Nothing feels better :)
