strange but true first computer virus (brain) The first computer virus name brain was developed in january 1986by two brothers in Lahore,Pakistan. this virus named brain was designedby Amjad Farooq Alvi and Basit Farooq Alvi with the intention of deterring the piracy of a software written by them. it considered to be the first computer virus for MS-DOS. Brain virus was not destructive andused to test the replication attributes of DOS.it infects the boot sector of storage media formatted with the FAT file system. Brain had the function to replicate itself within the disks inserted inside a brain hit computer. brain avoid infecting hard disks by checking the most significant bit of the bios drive being accessed. Both the genius brothers are currently operating a company named Brain Pvt.Ltd that provides, IPTV,ISP and various other servicesto the customers. brain virus came complete with brothers name,address,company name,three phone numbers and a message that told the user that their computer was infected and call them for vaccination.
