suggestion to Nigerians on Facebook who are creating awareness about the ills in our beloved country Nigeria is to: 1. Stop accepting cyber bullying as a form of expressing an “opinion”. In that you are knowingly and unknowingly encouraging distractors to continue with their aims of diverting your thread and others. 2. Do your best to observe those on your list in that the likelihood is that you do not know majority of them in the real world. 3. Be more concern about content(s) expressed in comment rather than names of the commentators. In that most of these distractors uses pseudo names and has multiple Facebook accounts. Therefore, contents of their comment will give you more indicators as to who they really are and what they stand for. 4. Be aware that propagandas are very conniving with bullying tendencies and would go to any length to suck you in into their ills by their fingers, pens and inboxing you false stories about their target(s). 5. Do not be reactive. 6. Question or ask them for evidence in support of the information they post, especially in your inbox message. 7. Failure to do this may result in you consciously or unconsciously involving yourself in a very compromising position that will stain you for ever. In worst case, you will be aiding political assassination that always starts with a hate campaign. 8. Cyber friendships defers greatly from physical world friendship. Hence, be aware that you do not have to communicate with your cyber friend or share any histoire about your personal business with them before they formulate and spread lies about you. 9. First step is the most difficult step, and that is SHOCK. But, try as much as you possibly can to remain calm. 10. Copy all contents of their innuendoes, smears including their picture and IP address. 11. Then save it in your personal computer for future references. 12. PLEASE NOTE THAT DATES ARE VERY CRUCIAL IN ALL REFERENCES/LEGAL/ CIVIL MATTERS. Therefore, ensure you copy the date. 13. DO NOT EDIT ANY INFORMATION FROM THEIR ORIGINAL COMMENTS OR THREAD NO MATTER HOW PAINFUL THEY ARE. 14. IF THE PLOT IS A DANGER TO YOURSELF AND OTHERS, PLEASE SHARE THE INFORMATION ON FACEBOOK. REPORT TO FACEBOOK. SEND THE ENTIRE INFORMATION TO FACEBOOK AND INVOLVED THE POLICE IN YOUR LOCATION SO THAT THEY WILL HAVE REFERNCES TO THIS FACT. 15. IF YOU ARE A CURIOUS BEING LIKE ME, PLEASE USE THEMATIC ANALYSES TO ANALYSE THEIR MINDS. AND THEN MAKE USE OF YOUR NOTE SECTION TO PASTE THEIR PLOT NO MATTER HOW PAINFUL IN ORDER TO SAVE OTHER INNOCENT PEOPLE FROM EXPERIENCING WHAT YOU WENT THROUGH. 16. ONCE AGAIN, YOU DO NOT KNOW WHO YOUR CYBER FRIENDS ARE UNTIL YOU BUILD A RELATIONSHIP IN THE PHYSICAL WORLD WITH THEM. AND YOU DO NOT NEED TO TELL THEM INFORMATION ABOUT YOURSELF BEFORE THEY FORMULATE THEIR OWN. SO REMAIN TRUE TO YOURSELF AND FOCUS. Lastly, Facebook is one of the best interactive tools renowned to change so many millions of lives for the better.
