surprised that traffic court was held today on this solemnest of days. Anyway, Connie and I had our day in court regarding fender bender back in June that she was involved in, and they found her guilty of failure to yield right of way, which is a total joke. The town prosecutor went through the trouble to bring the other driver in, and I had to laugh as I watched that other driver perjure himself unashamedly on the stand, even going so far as to alter his story in court today versus what he said to the officer at the scene the day of the accident. And yet, the judge bought his version of events over Connies. Even the ticketing officer, who was a respondent and not a witness to the accident, and also made no measurements at the scene nor reconstruction efforts, was not an accident investigation task team member (specialist) - he was asked if he saw the accident, to which he said no - well this is usually enough to plant doubt about supposed guilt, as things then turn into a he said she said - well, that didnt even work. This is what we call a teachable moment I guess - I fought the law and the law won lol. Except the law, and the Truth, are two entirely separate things here. Legally bound to pay a fine but the truth is is that the other driver got away with a really good story, deflecting the truth. Truth is is he was the one who completely blew a stop sign at a four way stop, and he was travelling behind a bus full of kids that were getting dropped off just feet from the collision. Congratulations - dude - your lies were rewarded this time! Way to go! Are you a salesman? because you can sure deal a total line of bullsh*t thats for sure! Thats is all I have to say about things - thanks for letting me vent a little - I pontificate freely on FB but rarely vent. No further statements at this time..
