t is almost impossible to avoid friction in any society. As long as you interact with people, there is bound to be misunderstanding of some sort. Most times, people who are reasonable get angry for good cause. Friction is what causes hurt, pain and unforgiveness. When someone you trust disappoint you, it is natural you get hurt. Likewise when people you love and trust talk about you in a negative way behind your back, it is very painful. Offences will come but how you handle such really matters to God. If you allow yourself to be hurt to a point you find it hard to forgive, it will affect your relationship with God and your prayer will not be answered. It is veryt clear that if you refuse to forgive those who have offended you, then your father in Heaven will equally retain your sins and not forgive you. If you do not receive forgiveness from God, how do you expect your prayers to be answered? The reason why you forgive your offenders is not because you want to but because you have to; not for their sake but for you sake; not because you desire it but because God commanded it and obeying it and obeying God commands it and obeying God in this area will be credited to you as righteousness. Has anyone offended you? Approach the person and let them know they have hurt you but that you choose to forgive because you love yourself. Good morning and have a fulfilled week. God bless you.
