*taps Mike* - check check 1-2.... uhhh, I just wanna thank everybody for the love on my birthday ( week or month cos the messages are still coming) This year - I endeavoured to respond individually to each message - which took almost as much time as working on an assignment lol. Why? You may ask... thats so time consuming. This past year our family has lost a couple of wonderful people who were instrumental in my childhood, remembering their words of encouragement...or reprimands (that were for my good)... their words and actions carried significant weight in value for me and still do, hearing of young ones who vanished like a vapour... the impact and influence these people had - it made me think about everyone i met in my life. From the ones I have done life with, to those I did the chin and eyebrow wave to. The time I had with each, I value those moments - positive or negative context - I learned something of value either about myself or others with every encounter. I may not be the bestest of buddies with each and all of them - I dont have to be to take time and post more than ☺or press like lol. (All good if you do - there is nothing wrong with that 👍) Some people might see it as kissing a** or brown-nosing. It was just a way I chose to relay this year the value I placed with every encounter to each individual. There is not one person i have met or know who I do not see value or potential in - regardless of his/her/their/our history - each person was created in His image - fearfully and wonderfully made. You oughta know that! Some just dont know that they are valued and act far less and below than their great worth. Its hard to believe that truth when you only hear the contrary, and usually - people act based on their perspective. If youve been told contrary to the truth - lifes a constant competition and can make for a lonely journey. But if you KNOW the truth - you truly value yourself, and then others the same way and can demonstrate it in the way you relate to people. Dont get me wrong - Ive shared some knock-outs and 6s in the past - and unfortunately cant uncommunicate those 😔 I recognise my own shortcomings - and I tell you that there were and still ARE many and no doubt I will probably discover more flaws as theyre revealed *sigh... But praise God that He aint done with me yet!! which makes me excited for what is in store not just for me but for you too! I honestly dont know what tomorrow holds but I know who holds it. My today will be spent appreciating the people I see and hear from - and thinking of those that I dont, working to demonstrate HIS grace towards others that I literally swim in!! Who knows - individual responses may become an annual thing or remain a 2015 thing - just know that I responded to you because you DO count and I value YOU :-) and OMIGOSH if i missed you Im SORRY!! - shortcomings remember? Grateful for each of you, old and new friends, friends that are family and my family who have endured me from day 1, particularly my 4 kid entertainers who I am blessed and graced with as a mother - Lanakila Salatielu, Tyla Naomi, Zion Konelio and Maellani Iloga With love - me #FaafetaiileAtua #anothernovel sorry!
