#tbt I wrote this song 8 years ago as a worship song to our Lord. It quickly became a love song for my friends to use at weddings. When I finally recorded it on my album years later, a good friend of mine insisted we get a video of it before we PCSd from Hawaii so I could share it with others. We recorded it in Schofield Barracks Chapel, HI, just a few months after my FOUR MONTH life battle in the hospital. I underwent several surgeries and battled a deadly infection. Im so thankful to be here writing this to you. This video was shot shortly after, while Cory was in command & deployed to Afghanistan. My videographer (and close friend) and I wanted to surprise Cory and send him this video while he was down range to bless him. I had a hard time physically and mentally after being in the hospital so long, so to finish this was a big accomplishment. I thank God for my friend Olivia, and others encouraging me to push through and do this. The pic at the end is during Corys R&R. He was not able to be here for Savannahs first year of life, but we could not be more proud of what he does to serve this nation and others around the world. I dedicate this to all of the military men & women deployed right now, their families, and friends - and for those getting ready to deploy.
