… tells Bullets that Chipuwa and Mlimbika are going nowhere… After securing a multi-million sponsorship deal with the Japanese Car dealer, BE Forward, BE Forward Wanderers are targeting several players to strengthen the team in the 2015 season, Malawi24 can reveal. The Nomads’ K70 million sponsorship packages will enable them to attract any player of their choice hence they have targeted former EPAC player, now with Caps utd of Zimbabwe, Ishmael Thindwa and Big Bullets skilled defender Pilirani Zonda, Malawi24 has established. The team’s general secretary Mike Butao has been speaking to the media on the possibility of recruiting some new players with the aim of reclaiming the lost glory. Nomads slated to boost squad “We will definitely recruit new players in the transfer market to beef up our squad. Last season we performed poorly hence it’s a must for us to buy some new players.” said Butao. When asked to reveal the names of the players, the general secretary refused to name their targets saying it’s unprofessional. “Currently we will not reveal the names because we are still negotiating with parties involved so we will reveal the names once we are done. “We are assuring our strikers that we will be the busiest in the market where by quality players will be playing for us. We have money to spend and everything is in its place,” added Butao. The soft spoken General Secretary then had time to tell Bullets that Francis Mlimbika and Richard Chipuwa are not for sale at any cost. “Our friends are just wasting their time in trying to sign Chipuwa and Mlimbika. These players are not for sale at any cost. They should try to look somewhere because these players have contracts with the club so we will not let them go,” concluded Butao. Despite refusing to name the players, Malawi24 can reveal that the Nomads have set their eyes on Thindwa and Zonda. Zonda played for Wanderers before leaving for EPAC and then joining Bullets during the 2014 season whilst Thindwa is not having game time at his Zimbabwean Club. However, the Nomads will not find it very easy to sign Thindwa because their rivals Big Bullets are also interested in bringing him back to Malawi
