thanks for the add. im just a year into turning my .33acre residential lot in gainesville a permaculture-scape. the first pic was the beginning, and the spot with the bees (view frmothe other side) was what recived the biggest transpormation. we created a nice winter swail garden where my little apiary was and will be building a water feature collection unit. im taking it slow to see how the water, rain, run, and plants adapt to these modifications. im trying to create self-sustaining sytems with smart planting and all of the beds are now seeded with clover that is sprouting and the annual veggie spots will be planted with peas tomorrow to get the soil fixed for tomatoes and such. i plan on creating a rock wall into a rocket stove and do some permanent vedging on the font. most areas are/or will be a combination of traditional edibles and native wildflower. weve got 2 resident owls, a swallowtail kite, lots of small mammals, bats, and lots of pollinators. no pest control. the bees will be back in the spring. anyhow, this is a lifetime project. ill be incorporating trees as i can swap for them or afford them. ill eb doing a pumpkin and sweet potato patch under olive trees in the front yard to start that off probably this weekend. im reading a lot and wanting the future to come faster.
