that the genders think differently is a common fact im sure the attitudes and mentalities of men frustrate women at least as much as the other way around i occasionally get confronted by a somewhat aggressive form of the attitudes the perceptions of many women about the behavior of many men why arent you in a relationship? why arent you married? are you still in love with your ex? are you afraid of commitment? at times... most times... even though i find this line of questioning to be inappropriate they instinctively make me a bit defensive i owe the questioner no explanation but... i owe myself one... i am reasonably comfortable with who i am with how i live with how i treat people i am comfortable being single i am open to more i try to rationalize it to myself at times would i like a woman in my life to travel with? to cook for? to share the experiences with? absolutely then why? different versions of the rationalization come out of my mouth each time they make no more sense to me than to the person hearing them and, neither of us believe what i am saying tonight someone i barely know embarked on this line of questioning aggressively unrelentingly she pissed me off i ultimately cut her off with a blunt statement and, in a moment of anger i responded because i am not looking for a relationship !!! im looking for a romance!!! i finally said it right...
