Proverbs 18:10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. Exodus 3:11 But Moses said to God, “Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?” Moses feels: Deeply Insecure Deeply Inferior Deeply Inadequate 1. God Reveals his Personhood God says I am, The Lord - To be, uninterrupted & boundless duration. I do not change I am The Lord In the midst of the storm we can think that God has left us, that God has changed. God says I am! I will never change I am the God who was and is and is to come. 2. God Reveals His Power God has a mighty Hand God demonstrates his power by performing two amazing signs using what was in Moses hand! How will we respond to God in the midst of the storm, in the midst of the wilderness? Moses goes together with his family to where God calls him and he goes with the staff of God in his hand! Exodus 4:20 So Moses took his wife and sons, put them on a donkey and started back to Egypt. And he took the staff of God in his hand.
