the Kiwanis Key Club is hosting a children’s hour on Wednesdays at 10am in the Library Meeting Room. Release your inner Mad Scientist on the 17th as the Key Club provides all the necessary ingredients to make No Cook Playdough, Tie-Dye Flower Color Absorption Experiment, Bobbing Raisins, and more! Every following Wednesday will be equally special for certain. Likewise, don’t forget the grand finale of the Summer Reading program on Thursday July 18th. There are two wonderful programs to attend this day. The first is “Every Day Rocks!” with geologist Susan Courter at 10:30 am. Learn about rocks and minerals with an experienced geologist and co-Quarry Quest creator. Make pencils from scratch! Sign up! The second program “Art in a Suitcase” with Mary Tooley starts at 4pm. This is another hands-on event that will challenge and delight your creativity.
