the Lord tells us that in the world we will face trials and hardships, but to not be afraid, for He has overcome the world. and that one statement (as does all Gods word) means a great deal. it means that, when you are afraid to act against a wrong, you dont have to fear, Jesus overcame it. so act. when you struggle with anger, and hatred, from others, its nothing to stress over, for Jesus overcame it. when you face addiction, and dont think youll ever beat it, Jesus overcame that for you too, so fight it. when you face ridicule, prejudice, discrimination, bitterness, He overcame that as well. no matter what darkness you face in this life, the Lord has overcome it all. He has crushed it under His feet, and wiped it away with the cross. and He will be there to help you discover, and claim, that victory. so that you may reclaim your life, and begin anew. for He, loving us, can do no less. so be not afraid of lifes struggles my friends. simply trust in Jesus, and overcome. in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen. I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation.
