the Pearl River County Fair begins next week. Sept 2-6, 2013. This is Mary Jane and McKenzie at the Pearl River County Fair Pet Show last year. They loved dressing up the kittens and showing them. The fair field day races start at 11 and the pet show is at 2. You need to bring your children. It is fun!! The races are like sack race, 50 yard dash, and they have different age categories. If they win, they win some money, but the fair sends it to them later. If your child enters some craft in the fair, they might win a little money too. So get out all those VBS crafts and enter them in the fair! Entries must be taken to fair on Monday. I remember taking my kids to the fair on Friday when they were little. On a very limited budget with four kids. We would go to the races early to sign everybody up. That was free. We would go find our crafts we had entered to see if we won. That was free! We would go to the pet show, sometimes we entered pets. That was free! We would take the pets home and come back and ride the rides. Oh yeah and when I started running out of money I would buy them all a hot dog and after they ate it I would put them on a fast ride. Then everyone would throw up and be more than ready to go home!!!!! Ha!
