the Quran informs us dat Allah alone knows the future and all other things that are beyond human perception..........Allah saysHe (alone) knows that which is beyond the reach of a created beings perception,and to none does He disclose anything of the mysteries of His own unfathomable knowledge. (Quran 72:26) in a hadith,Muawiyah b. Al-hakam reported that he said to the Prophet: among us are some men who go to consult the fortune tellers.The Prophet replied:Then do not go to them. (Muslim, Abu Daud,Nisai) A muslim should therefore never base his actions on the advise or predictions of fortune-tellers. There are some people who become totally dependent on fortune-tellers,and the fortune-tellers make a lot of money out of them.such people will never make a journey ,or buy or sell,or move house,or get married ,without first consulting the fortuneteller,and asking what to do or when to do it.in this way they surrender their own will and independence to another human being.
