the ability to quote scripture and know your way around the Bible, is not something that qualifies you as a good person or a "proper Christian". it merely means you can memorize words and remember places in a book. if you do not follow fully what you read or if you quote things out of context, you are actually showing yourself to be the absolute opposite. be authentic in your beliefs and kind in your actions. truly live your beliefs, for that is all that matters. if your actions and words do not match, no one will find you credible or worthy of believing.
