the author totally misses the point - every subject is based upon mathematics... and the critical thinking skills (logic, reasoning, inference, deduction, statistical analysis, to name just a few) developed enhances all other subject areas. but hey, i am of the mindset that every student should take beginners course in game theory before leaving high school & college algebra should not be a course for college credit - just a remediation course for anything missed in high school.
