the blessings of wudhu 1) It is half of faith 2) It cleanses and purifies the sins, so much so that a person can have ALL of his minor sins forgiven through wudhu and prayer 3) It beautifies a person (hilya) on the Day of Judgment 4) Those who do it regularly will have shining faces and limbs (ghurran muhajaleen) on Judgment Day 5) Angels themselves testify that perfecting wudhu during difficult circumstances (e.g., in winter) is of the greatest and most beloved deeds to Allah 6) It is a sign of iman to renew ones wudhu continuously 7) It is the only mechanism through which the Prophet (SAW) will recognize his Ummah on the Day of Judgment. So Muslims... do not splish-splosh through your wudhu and be careless about it. It is of the greatest deeds of worship and of the most pleasing to Allah. And it is the ONLY way that you will be invited to drink from the Hawd of the Prophet (SAW) when you most need to drink from it.
