the building manager at my apartment complex arranged for our garbage cans to be moved from their original location inside the complex to a farther outside corridor. now taking the trash out is a safety hazard since we have to walk all the way outside, then enter a code to even get into the damn thing (which gives me anxiety for wanting to make quick nighttime drop offs) ….but you also have to climb up/down twice as many steps just to get to it.. Zachary calls out the building manager on his ableist executive decision today, & his response is that the stairs are going to be used regardless & this is better and more convenient for all of us (the tenants). Well, thanks for telling the community what we want/need & for having no consideration whatsoever about some folks ability to even walk those steps. well see if the rest of the tenants agree with you after we draft a petition this weekend lol
