Permit me to help you. What defines you? If you are very young and self-centered, that is understandable. If you are in high school, especially Careers, and feeling a bit overwhelmed with all your choices, that is normal. If you are professional, and have a successful track record by all accounts (i.e., bank accounts, executive, prestigious living among the elites, private jets, chauffeur -driven limousines and private estate, but have loss sight of family and community, you are a pulper. If you are a blue collar and working from paycheck to paycheck, but ensure there is interaction and quality family time, you may be low on cash, but you are rich in far more important ways that matter. If you are going through life and thinks the world is indebted to you, think again! If you are skylarking; self-adsorbed, self-centered and feel the world evolves around you, you are delusional! It is high-time that you aspire to significance! Further, that the world is, or will be a better place because of you. As the wise man Solomon wrote, if you falter and fail people when they need you most, there is no more confidence....you are like a broken tooth and a foot out of joint. Are you faithful? Dependable? Does your reputation proceed you, that you are caring, considerate and trustworthy? You are no friend is you cannot be relied on when your friend is in need or going through a difficult or rough spot in life. You are more of an acquaintance. An acquaintance is like car insurance, it is only good, until you need it! Its time! If you have been a taker. A part of a whats in it for me generation? Its time! Time for you to grow up. Its time for you to think of someone, other than yourself. Its time! What time is it? Its time for you to pay it forward and return good deeds in kind. We can all improve in some meaningful way! Read to some senor citizens. Help with grocery shopping and carrying groceries to and from a home. Work hard and get great grades in school in return for nice clothes, lunchs and expenses for gym, band, militart cadets, etc. Helping with yard work, doing chores, volunteering at school and tutoring. Making a difference? Yes. You Can. Start Today!
