the country known as comettiland had been a bit messy of late-- the hurricane hit us directly. It was only a cat 3 by the time it hit us, though. we got 110-120 mph winds here. Cabo got ruined- they took 140-150. Rioting, looting-- a real mess, I hear. The boat is out of the water and took $2k worth of damage, but all easy stuff to fix. Solar panels blew off and are orbiting with the space station, I think. Hot here. got power back Wednesday-- and my place was lucky-- about half of La Paz still has none. The ferry from the mainland comes in here-- they have been bring trucks from CFE (Mexican electric co.) and soldiers. The later are all heading for Cabo and San Jose del Cabo. They de-sal all their water down there- and they have no power. Costco and Sams looted-- who can blame them? Im dealing with an inflamed colon or semi-colon or something. spent last Wednesday in hospital here. I woke up about 4 in a LOT of pain and it got worse. by 8:30, I decided to go somewhere--- the private hospital is called FITIPAZ-- and no, I dont know what it means. they were NICE. private room, a great old doctor, IVs, ultrasound, medicine-- no blowjob. under $500 for all. finally made some more poop yesterday and dropped some of it off at the lab-- may know what type of zoo critters are having a party north of my asshole by this afternoon. yea!! Im sitting in a coffee shop and using their internet. Ive had none since before the storm. Im doing fine-- will catch you up when I get internet back at my place-- 2-3 days. xox JAC
