the crows that resided on the grounds where aour cabins were used to getting some scraps from guests, it seems I had thrown a cracker out on the grass to see / sure enough they came & scooped them up, squalking at each other the whole way but I noticed one larger crow had first dibs at food / the second time I tossed a crackers out was on the following day as I heard a loud cawing right outside the cabin, walked out into the screened porch to see what was going on and there, 10 ft from the porch, the heavier crow was staring right at me and yelling at me / I smiled & started to laugh a bit realising what was going on / the bird stopped for a sec... and went back to cawing as soon as I was silent again / he kept staring & yelling, right at me / it was obvious what he was saying.... so I threw out the door, another two crackers, broken into pieces, onto the lawn this time alone, he takes half the pieces & walks a little ways away to eat ...& after another crow comes by & finally walks off a ways, he returns to the original spot & collects the rest of his booty / these guys facinate me Mount Desert Island, Maine
