the gaumont by broady 2014. the gaumont was on oxford road in Manchester. this sketch is based on a photograph taken in 1935. Ive heard my mam talk about it, it was very popular, Im not sure if she worked there as an usherette. anyway this is probably my last picture of the year so thanks to all you people and friends for looking and all your comments. a selection of my 2014 work will be in an exhibition at the cornerstone in Salford from the 2nd of feb.2015. free admission. prints will be available to buy. then it will be at eccles art gallery in spring and at some time during the year it will be on display at the angel centre on chapel street in Salford. have a happy Christmas and new year. peace and goodwill to all. hope 2015 is a better year for everybody than the last 4 years have been - so vote labour! god bless, broady.
