the letter to the editor in the Tulsa world is not worth repeating , Unfortunately it comes from a tribal council member of the Delaware tribe and supports the mocking of Indians through the use of Indian mascots. It is embarrassing and unfortunate. But, she is on the wrong side of history and whats good for her own people. There will always be those people. They speak for so few of us, but they are an interesting subject for those who think we should just get over and remain a cartoon character. Im not really upset with her. I take comfort in that the best of my people know this is wrong and it is growing. To the day mascots are no more I wait.
