the more and more i think about this 1st Annual Got Bannock? Fall Village Feast, the more i like the idea of the potluck, its the traditional way of my people, to come together and share what they have, in the name of community, connectedness and to celebrate the new season. The more people that contribute the more food there will be for those less fortunate to eat, bring your old clothing that no longer fits, bring last years winter boots if you are planning to buy new ones, bring your old coats that no one really wears at all, there are so many people in need that arent given the budget they need to purchase such items, come down and help me out that day, i dont know what kind of jobs there will be, the way i am, if i see a job that needs to be done, i do it, fill in where you can, take a moment to interact with a certain family, as im sure there will be families there, make their experience special, show them you care, show them respect and thats what you get back, i can guarantee that it will be worth every effort you made and every moment you committed towards this event, and i can guarantee you will have an awesome day doing it :D
