the most depressing thing about this whole Bill Cosby situation is being stuck with this awful feeling that the fundemental and intelligent human decency which was the heart of that show, a decency that played a big part in my own moral development as a kid, was basically just another sleazy marketing ploy manufactured by another bunch sleazeballs and sleazeball enablers to sell me on the idea that people are good at heart and oh you should go buy some pudding pops. Even my Calvin and Hobbes anthologies seem suspicious now.
